This Week’s What you Should be Listening To: Jan 19th 2016

Trying out a new feature here at Typical showcasing all the wonderful music we’ve been graced with recently. As we know many of our readers are busy people handing work, school, and an assortment of other life-bullshit we are happy to pull together a list of music you may have missed on your feeds. Check it out as we continue to grow.

Kanye West – Real Friends/No More Parties in LA ft. Kendrick Lamar

Kanye has been absolutely killing it this month with his two new tracks building up the already massive hype for his forthcoming album SWISH. Make sure these new tracks are in your music rotation as Kanye came did some serious fan service with Real Friends, and aggressively shut-up haters who target Ye’s rapping ability.

A$AP Mob – Yamborghini High

What better way to pay tribute to A$AP Yams then to release a slapper. Well The Mob did exactly that, first revealed on OVO Sound Radio you can now listen to the track in its entirety.

Future – Purple Reign (Mixtape)

The work never stops for Future as he has already dropped a full-length project into the new year after destroying 2015 with a handful of projects. Purple Reign keeps Future’s reign in check as he continues to release impressive music, Im particularly enjoying the track “Bye Bye” right now.

Young Thug – Serious

Lets be honest what would a list of new music be without some Thugger? Young Thug continues to release music in a very unconventional way seemlessly appearing online, but hey I’m not complaining! Check out Thug’s latest “Serious” OG fans have been enjoying due to some of his callback melodies.

A$AP Rocky – Wu-Tang Forever (Remix)

While unexpected considering the original track is now a few years old A$AP Rocky has thrown down a verse on Drake’s classic Wu-Tang Forever. One listen in and you will understand why Rocky has decided to do this, the beat is straight fire and really brings me back to Nothing Was the Same.
