Today officially starts the beginning of the new NFL season, which means that the planning for next years Super Bowl has begun as well. According to Entertainment Weekly, the NFL has asked Bruno Mars to return to the Super Bowl Halftime Show after gracing the stage back in 2014.
Prior to this years Super Bowl, Bruno Mars had the most watched halftime show ever. His 2014 halftime performance featured the Red Hot Chili Peppers, which drew in a total of 115 million viewers.
Since then he has been touring around the world and is still being featured on hit singles. The latest being Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk”. Neither Bruno’s reps or the NFL have yet to confirm these reports.
Super Bowl L (50) will take place on February 7, 2016 in Santa Clara, California.
